"Expertise Center for Urban Development Projects" OJSC is the renamed successor of "Armseismshin and KP Scientific Research Institute" OJSC. The licensed activity of the company is the implementation of visual and instrumental examination of buildings and structures, drawing up of conclusions about the technical condition. In accordance with the requirements of existing norms ("Earthquake-resistant construction: design standards" and "Reconstruction, restoration, strengthening of buildings and structures: basic provisions"), the following technical instructions are given:
- increasing the level of seismic resistance of buildings based on functional profile of the building
- implementation of works to strengthen and restore buildings in case of damage
- implementation of repair works aimed at protecting buildings and ensuring thermal conditions
The company has the necessary instrumental and laboratory facilities and is staffed by highly qualified specialists with up to 35 years of professional work experience. To this day, the organization is a leader in the research of the facilities (schools, kindergartens, culture houses, administrative and residential buildings, etc.) presented by the RA regional administrations, municipalities, rural communities and government bodies during the implementation of which special attention is paid to ensuring the reliability of the conclusions and ensuring the measures defined by the operational, normative and technical requirements of the mentioned facilities, thus contributing to the compliance of the projects developed on the basis of the mentioned conclusions with the existing building codes.
The activities of the company are developed in the conditions of the RA Code, guided by urban development standards.
